Covered Bridge Special Education is located in Terre Haute, Indiana. Terre Haute features three institutions of higher learning, including Indiana State University, home of an APA approved school psychology program for which CBSED serves as a practicum site. Covered Bridge Special Education serves four corporations – (three rural, one urban), PK-12 special education enrollment approximately 3,652. The Psychological Services department is currently comprised of 9.8 FTE school psychologists and four (4) educational diagnosticians. Candidates need to have a working knowledge of the role of Chief Fiscal Officer in conducting school business, including governmental accounting and State Board of Accounts compliance, preparation of financial statements and reports, tax forms/reporting, payroll procedures, benefits management, budget preparation and disbursement, and other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
